It’s 2nd day of conference with Pst Kong and it’s truly breath-taking and mind-blowing! God is awesome!
Yesterday he preached on overcoming our bad past especially the incidents related to shame. This morning he preached on confidence and how important it is if we want to serve God and glorify God in our lives. Tonight, he preached on prayer. Every sermon was short, powerful and spoke to me! It’s like so personalised!
It’s so true one word from God can transform us! That one word was “LOVE”
Sounds cliche? Sounds too simple? But really…it’s the answer to my every trouble, every need, every problem, every stress.
If I LOVE my job/studies, I LOVE what I’m doing, I’ll have the strength and motivation to keep me going. In relationship with people, if I LOVE, it resolves every conflict, misunderstanding, fight. LOVE is the core that makes the relationship strong. If I’m tired taking care of people/parents/family/members, LOVE is the answer. In fact, LOVE is the only reason to go the second mile, above and beyond my duty. If my problem is because people around upset me/not cooperative, LOVE will cover a multitude of sins/conflicts.
Sometimes I really feel I don’t know how to love. To put others above myself, to think of the benefits of others before thinking about myself. LOVE is so simple, yet sometimes it’s so hard to do!
LOVE…..what a big word! One Word from God…just one word…but such a big, big word!
